Any bar that has one of those Internet jukeboxes can easily turn any bar into a Theme Time-esque bar if the person with enough cash and coin to spare knows a thing or two about music (specifically, that is, pre-rock and roll music). I did so on my trip to NYC, where it seemed every bar had a Net jukebox. I turned a sports bar near MSG into a jazz club. One of the more memorable moments was when some rowdies at the bar and their bartender lady all stopped talking to listen to Duke's 1941 version of "Take The A Train".
Fun times..i love doing that..
but, I usually despise the net boxes..my favorite is the bars that actually own their jukebox and can put whatever they want in it..including mix cdr's, which you can't do if you rent..
one of my favorite jukeboxes has a cd titled
Beatles Songs We Find Acceptable!
