I Believe In You again? Still nodding to Mr. Wexler or has Mr. Mercurial rededicated his life to Christ?

Confidential post script to QoS: Just saw the final set list from boblinks and looks like we uh, won't have to go up top and clean the gutters or anything

No guests during Dylans set , there was an unused mic out between Bob and Tony, I dont remember if its usually there or not but I dont think so. During Levon Helm's last song the stage was full with nearly all the previous performers of the festival for "The Weight." Steve Earl sang the "Chester" verse ( he really likes to say the F word alot) and everybody else sang on the chorus's. It was fun.
When Dylan's set started the intro was said and the band started playing "Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat" without Bob visible onstage, at the last possible second he could hold out, he appeared and semi-ran over to his keyboard just in time to sing - I see you got your.....it was kinda dramatic. He was pretty into it tonight but Denny looked and sounded tired. Bob sang the Dr Filth verse 2x's in Desolation Row, and did alot of kinda toe touching stretching stuff which may have been a signal for Larry and Levon to stay away.

If anyone who was there took pictures, can you please post them?

I was there, but didn't bring a camera as last year was not allowed to take any. Tonight?, Everyone was taking pictures. And would like some images to remember the performance from... Thanks a million in advance.

I'll fill you in, Hal. Queenie and Bama had a suicide pact if Levon joined Bob on stage. Bama's husband said he would jump off their roof if Levon and Bob sang together because we were trying to decide on which show to attend, but Kansas City won out after we checked airfares. Lucky for us not in attendence, it didn't happen.

I don't get it. Why does everybody think Larry and Levon will come on stage with Dylan? Are they on tour with him?

They were both playing there the same exact day. I assumed that since I hadn't bought a ticket they would, since that's how my luck plays out...

This has probably been posted elsewhere, but I just read it from yesterday's front page and thought it set the mood of what Saratoga must have felt like. REALLY wish I had been there. So Bob was standing just off in the shadows and Levon had all those peeps on the stage with him! So close!

Heehee, maybe the writer doesn't know his hats. And how about tossing a grapefruit...why would you do that? I just liked that he was actually watching some of the rest of the show.
