First I'd like to say bobs vocals of working mans blues was fabulous.
I liked Charlies guitar in 3 songs and was completely unimpressed with the rest. I did however yell nice job Charlie during one of the songs. I think it was summer days. For tonight the showboating wasn't too bad. I really didn't pay much attention to him. I only noticed him when I liked his guitar work. Stu I really enjoyed. I miss Denny terribly. As for bob, I thought he was completely lack luster minus working mans blues. His phrasing and rhythm were outstanding. Charlie played a cool lead in watchtower that I enjoyed.

Overall I didn't love the show but I didn't dislike it either. It was eehhh. I've seen lots better.

Thanks for the review.

Yes!!!! His nuances!!! :(

Charlie had some nice ones too thought. So did stu!! I really enjoyed stu. He and Charlie have a similar sound I think.

The songs that I liked Charlie on were watchtower summer days and thunder. It almost sounded like Rock around the clock

Milky, how were Cold Irons and Sugar Baby? More important: Threads? Bling? Hat?

CIB - is great!!!
Sugar Bay is just like the one on Youtube from this tour. Nice!
Hat was there - white.
Bling? I shiny ring on both of his ring fingers.

Also, Charlie looks emaciated. Doesn't Bob offer a meal plan for the boys? :)

The physical training on the stage is too much for him.

The last truly great Dylan show was quite a while ago I think.

Sorry your so jaded. I thought it was incredable! Yes Charlie plays a lot but he's really good. What about the Rolling Stones ish guitar weaving in Baby Blue. No that didn't do it for you? How about the way he sang Boorrrnnnn in Sugarbaby. Nope no traction there? The building swirling intensity of Desolation Row. You're postcards not comming from there! Summer Days? You miss Denny? I think you miss your mommy. Wow it must be tough being Bob Dylan. You put you heart and soul into it and you get a big Yawn from and expert.

First of all you don't know me or my "mommy". How do you know I dont miss my mommy?
How do you know my mommy is still alive. With your superior attitude I have one piece if advice: FU CK OFF.

And to answer your questions, no none of it did it for me except the 3 songs I posted. I guess along with your sarcastic attitude you don't have very good reading comprehension skills.

My mommy...... Loser!

i bet he'd be far less emaciated if he was sitting at home in sweatpants complaining about great bands on the internet.

and this is why people object to your behavior. You're going after Milkcow when she was justifiably responding to the idiot "new" poster who brought in her MOTHER. Bringing up people's family? That's what you should be objecting to.

I didn't know that you were allowed to respond any way you'd like when you felt offended. Is that right, OTH?

You have a point of course, but Milkcow's review was designed to cause a reaction like that. Yes, she can post what she thinks whenever she wants, but she knows very well that she's swimming against the stream with her opinion and her review just wasn't long or well-written enough to proof that Dylan's performance was indeed lackluster (a first on this tour?), that Charlie was unimpressive (another first?) and why Stu's playing was enjoyable.

The entire review (well, the follow-up post) just offers one very good observation - Stu and Charlie work well together. So well in fact that it's difficult to understand for most people why one would miss Denny "terribly".

of course not, Tambo. You know that, you know I don't think that, but you have a soft spot for joe and defend everything he does lately. This board allows people to say fu ck off so calling for someone's banning over something that is allowed here on practically a daily basis is just joe trying to needle milkcow again. otoh, going after someone's family is over the line. uninvolved parties off the board just aren't fair game.

but the review is her opinion and is certainly relevant to this board. people may not agree with it, but that never justifies talking about someone's parent. it's over the line and kinda creepy.
