Several acts have booked cruise ships, charged a boatload of money for people to book the cruise and floated around for a week doing a show or two each day with the stars mingling with the guests...

Do you think Dylan could successfully promote a week long cruise ship tour?

How much do you think it would cost?

How much would you be willing to pay to go on a week long cruise with Bob Dylan and His Band knowing they would do a matinee and evening performance each day?

Would you be willing to pay more if matinee performances were acoustic? If so, how much?

How about solo acoustic? If so, how much?

I'd pay just to see the man sit and knit. So, yeah! I'd probably pay a lot!

Unfortunately, Tragos is right - it would be a lovely idea, though, if only ER members were allowed on the cruise

I can picture it now...

I was riding on the Mayflower
When I thought I spied some land
I yelled for Captain Arab
I have yuh understand
Who came running to the deck
Said, “Boys, forget the whale
Look on over yonder
Cut the engines
Change the sail
Haul on the bowline”
We sang that melody
Like all tough sailors do
When they are far away at sea

To get a ticket you should have to produce ticket stubs of shows you attended. If you met the minimum requirement you could go on the cruise. This would help to get REAL fans in and not just the high rollers.....

"This would help to get REAL(ly old) fans in."

I know young people who love Bob but, of course, they cannot produce many ticket stubs.

What would the minimum requirement be? I'm young and I have some.

Certainly hope the Dylan Cruise doesn't hit a sandbar, iceberg, capsize or sink... that could put a damper on everyone's spirits.

Sounds like Bob Dylan's nightmare: Trapped at sea with a boatload of his most bestest fans...

Imagine Bob and his fans trapped on the same ship for one week...

How long would he make it 'til we heard "Man overboard!"

Gotta have lots of younger fans on board, otherwise it might get quite boring, quite quickly.

Rumors are rampant that Bob and His Band had just struck up Gordon Lightfoot's The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald when the mayhem began.
