Anyone else a little concerned that Bob isn't playing piano or guitar except on three songs? Maybe a sign that his hands are really bothering him?

Who know, could be a one off type thing. With Bob you never know.

WHAT'S THE SOUND LIKE WITH CHARLIE BACK - MORE ROCKING ? LESS JAZZY? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW - SORRY ABOUT CAPS BUT I AM SO DAMN EXCITED!

Maybe a sign that his hands are really bothering him?

Maybe Bob finally figured heck I am paying these guys to play so why am I doing all the work?

seriously, if that's the only NDY of the tour I'm gonna do something drastic. I want it in Boston Bob! Don't do this to me!

he did some shows last tour with a lot of center stage. I wouldn't read too much into it.

That's the band as per friend. Same except Charlie instead of Denny.

I want to ask about Charlie, too, but do not want to stress friend. We'll know more after show.

What does that have to do with the price of fish in Ashtabula?

He never did this much center stage, only a few songs a night. The last time he did this much center stage was when he had the flu a few years back and he played the whole show center stage.

I mentioned in another thread about how I think Bob avoids certain songs (Knockin', I Shall Be Released) because he prefers them with accompaniment for some reason. Makes me think that Charlie might've sung Change My Way with him, which is why he brought it out of the mothballs (with Sexton playing the part of Staples).

So far, the sort of show I would've hoped for. Let's hope he ends it with another mindbender.

Bob is re-asserting his born-again beliefs which he never relinquished anyway.

Don't go all Jesusy on me again, Bob! I like a lot of 79-81, and this Change My Way is cool, but if you start preaching again I'm gonna go all Long Johnny on ya. And I really don't wanna have to shoot myself.

set calmed down a bit since the beginning, but I'm loving it! Great job with the live setlist. I'm going to see him in portland and I hope he plays knockin on heavens door, but he hasn't played it in a while...

But can you get LJ to shoot himself?
(Not worried about him reading/responding since he doesn't follow the NET...)
