I sell it as I bought it (and trust me or not, this is from a very good source who was right with 2007 - 2009 tours):
Japanese tour will not happen. There is still a chance for short Australian one in spring but more probably they will kick-off in US. European Summer Tour including shows in Austria (Salzburg, Graz, Vienna, Insbruck), Slovakia, (Bratislava), Croatia (Zagreb or Split), short Germany leg, France and the main part in Italy and Spain is almost 100% sure. According to my source, even some of 2011 Spring dates are already scheduled, including several nights already booked in Heineken Hall in Amsterdam.

he can repeat the past, can't he? In this case: Europe 2008.
Anyway: if there's any truth in this, I suppose they will start the pre-sale before Christmas

Im sorry if that offended you, made you sad etc,but Bob is not a young man period and to say that he has already considered or even booked dates for 2011 is plain stupid IMO,do you for one believe its true cos i sure to hell don't :?:

Regardless of Bob's age I don't believe they'd book anyone that far in advance especially if theres already a 2010 tour being planned.

Okay,Croatia sounds brilliant, but why summer again? As many have mentioned before, it means shortened sets, festivals, lots of drunken loud people around ecc. I wish he'd come here around springtime, it would be also logical. Why would the Americans get both autumn/winter & spring ? ;)

Anyway thanks for the info! 8) Oh and about 2011, that's really too far away to book anyone.

I don't think that any rock and roll tour is booked for 2011. Professional Sports teams yes, but not music.

there's a rumor that the Stones are planing a tour in 2010 and I guess it's gonna be another world tour and in that case it's very likely that they are already planing for 2011. On the other hand it's not (about) music - rather some kind of sports team: Jagger jogging and Richards doping and Mr. Wood seems to have discovered a new kind of 'sports' - see for all that: http://www.iorr.org/news.htm

the keyword might be "multiple nights". I'm sure a place like HMH in Amsterdam is quite busy and if you want to play there place three nights in a row, you might as well book early. Well, maybe "book" is the wrong term, but I wouldn't be surprised they have reserved / blocked out weekends
at venues they intend to do residecies well in advance.

It might also be a way to keep local promoters happy - "look, we won't come to Holland in 2010, but let's set something up for 2011 already".

Don't ask me why I know this, but to prove you're wrong - Chris de Burgh (not quite rock n roll, but at least pop music) has his 2011 dates up and *on sale* already. http://www.cdeb.com/cdebnew/tourmain.html

Wise man, I went to Tolouse during the '08 tour. The Bob drought was just too much.
