Just a few thoughts about yesterdays show:

I had never seen Knopfler live before and I didn't know any of his songs but I really enjoyed his performance. He makes it easy for a "novice" to enjoy the concert. As opposed to Dylan: if you had never seen him live before,it would be very hard to become a fan after his show.
Dylans performance was much better than I had expected, his voice may be gone, but especially during the first half, his "singing" was quite nice. Highlight for me was "Simple twist of fate".
After that, he lost his momentum, the next few songs didn't catch on for me. Especially the staccato-singing on Hard Rain was dreadful. With "Thin Man", the show was back on the tracks, maybe it had something to do with the stage-rush. Bob clearly played for the people suddenly so close in front of him. We even were treaded to an extra encore with "Blowin'".
All in all one of the better concerts I've seen of Bob.

But something else rerally bugged me: why are they still selling the same old merchandise? I am now the proud owner of three programmes (2005,2007,2011) with the same stupid interview about the movie "Hearts on Fire" of all things! This terrible came out in 87. They should be glad it's long forgotten and not bring it up every time Bob goes on tour. What's going on there?

Well, just my two cents.
WIMS

there was such an intense atmosphere in the hall when he did that song... kinda solemn and poignant, i was very touched by his performance and it´s one of my fondest memories of the munich show!

This version of "Things Have Changed" shows the full picture - the one above is very one-sided and neglects to show that MK is lead guitar!

Things Have Changed (Munich, 26 Oct. 2011)

It's a pity the sound isn't as good as the picture quality, though, otherwise it would have been perfection.
