My gosh, am I dreaming this? I listened to MK's 'Privateering' before dinner and here I am reading a dream Bob setlist. I'm about to go and find out if I too can listen to this (it will keep me up past Bob's bedtime).

Happy Birthday Tragos! All these young people!

At my school, one of the vice principals hanged herself. I posted this song in my class for her.

Wow, that was a nice surprise with the live broadcast. Is that video downloadable ... somehow? It would be tragic if something like that disappeared someday.

To the setlist itself: Boots, Coat, and Not Dark Yet... that's just great!

I had trouble getting it to play live, but it was exciting, nonetheless! I'm going to try again to watch it in a little while.

Happy Birthday, Tragos!!

That 'Not Dark Yet' is wonderful! I do hope there's some close-up film too (aren't we spoilt?)

I'm so sorry Milkcow, I edited what I said here because I noticed your earlier post. Hope you didn't see my original comment which could have been unintentionally offensive.

Back from the show:

The best: Boots of Spanish Leather, awesome surprise
Forgetful Heart, great vocal, he can still do it if he wants to
Not Dark Yet

Worst: Too many blues tunes!
seriously Levee, Thunder, Leopard, Rollin Tumblin and Highway 61 in one setlist?

Levee and Rollin and Tumblin sound way too similar...

Overall a good night, though. I had fun.

Knopfler was surprisingly good.

HE IS!
It's just that from the stuff I'd heard on this board and the solo songs I listened to before I was half-expecting it to be boring. I had zero expectations and was very pleasantly surprised.
