Back to Yik. This is all very strange. Recently an Asian man with a limp and a guitar has been walking down our street. It's a dead end street that branches off a heavily trafficked main road. He walks down to the end, turns around, and walks back, usually in the evening just as it's growing dark. He doesn't stop to visit, he just walks. He has a very distinctive limp, his right leg I think, easy to spot from a distance. I live in the middle of the block and can recognize him when he first comes on to the street solely because of his unique limp. I usually alert my family, "Here comes the Asian guy again." They are not as interested in this phenomenon as I am. I sometimes get the feeling that he is a ghost. Or else, he gets stoned, goes for a walk, and turns down the wrong street. Now this thread has got me wondering if Yik Wong is able to bi-locate and if so, why would he choose my street.

Well if you start smelling sandalwood incense and hearing Aaron Copeland music in the background you'll know that you may be onto something, Leocadia!

The scent is called Nag Champa.

I just burned some today. I'm lucky that we sell it at my place of business.

Correct. Nag Champa incense sticks consist of mostly sandalwood with a mixture of champa, an Indian flower, and a particular tree resin (that I can't recall the name of). Sometimes other oils are added. The ashrams of India are filled with this aroma. The city of Mysore is a major sandalwood center and immediately comes to mind at Bob shows. When Yik lights those sticks many a happy-scented memory comes through.

Last Saturday I was at Hop Farm and who do I spy on stage setting up for Patti Smith complete with a Patti Smith jacket on? Yik Wong!!
Then as soon as Patti's set finishes, Yik whips off his jacket to reveal his Bob Dylan T-Shirt!

Please enjoy the photographs depicting Yik's transformation. First, Yik checks Patti's piano wrapped in the cocoon that is the Patti Smith Jacket.

Then, Yik sheds the cocoon to reveal his beautiful Bob wings in the form of the evil eye.

Anyone else got any pictures from any recent shows? Did he go on and help Patti on her other European dates?
Yik is such an enigma.

Yik didnt actually look after the grand piano Bob played, there was an outside roadie looking after that. He seemed to be pretty annoyed how Al kept interrupting him to check the mic while he was trying to tune the piano.

Does anyone know if the Piano Roadie form Hop Farm has followed the crew on tour? Is he a new addition to Bob's touring entourage?
