What do people think were the best performances of 2011??

So far I think:
{1} Gotta Serve Somebody, Taipei (Apr 3)
{2} Gonna Change My Way Of Thinking, Beijing (Apr 6)
{3} Forever Young, Shanghai [Apr 8]
{4} Can't Wait, Milan (Jun 22)
{5} All Along The Watchtower, Odense (Jun 27)
{6} Ballad Of A Thin Man, Santa Barbara (Jul 14)
{7} Tangled Up In Blue, Glasgow [Oct 8]
{8} Not Dark Yet, Nottingham (Oct 11)

Alrik-Heaven from the fine first Glasgow show surely can't make the list due to the mess up of the vital last line? Hammersmith II's version is unique due to Knopfler's weaving presence so that might be a more apt choice?

Sorry, was getting my songs mixed up. It was Hattie Carroll where he mixed up the last line in the otherwise excellent 1st Glasgow gig

Can't Wait in Milan was incredible, as was Cork's Tryin' - I've never heard him sing it with that melody before.

Definitely have to cast a vote for "Blind Willie McTell" at Canandaigua... And the debut of the new arrangement.

At the show I thought it was a good version, but listening to it on tape, the 1st Byron Bay version is indeed superb and agreed, better than Shanghai.

Ya I've been listening to that one quite a lot recently and have come to like it more too.

Love his singing throughout, particularly on "may you always be courageous"
