I just was wondering if there are Bob Dylan shirts at his concerts. I'm going to one on tuesday and I want to know how much money I should bring. Anyone here know?

I usually buy a poster but I'm boycotting them this year unless Bob puts a different photo on it.

If you can afford to get one, it's fun to have one. He keeps using the same photo for the U.S. posters. We've been lobbying for a new shot for years but he's not listening..BOBBBBBY!!!! PRETTY PLLEEEEEZE!

If that's your idea of lobbying, good luck. Bob Dylan is 71 years old, he can't use that computer thing that all the kids are using these days!

There were no posters at the Missoula show. I was disappointed. The t-shirts were nice, but they were all $35 and up. I asked the merch guy, and he said there were supposed to be posters, but somebody messed up.

Tell that to my 91 year old mother, who uses one every day.

bummer. Last summer when I attended the House of Blues show, they had a printed poster of the show with Bob and Leon Russell. Only problem is Russell didn't play that show.

I never appreciated the tshirts they sell, they're pretty generic and cold. The posters as well.

A related subject that springs to my mind here: Why the hell is it that (with every single artist I know, Bob included) women's shirts are usually much more appealing than men's in terms of design, creativity etc.? Annooooooying!!! Anyone else has a similar impression?

Very much so. Dylan, Inc. has the $ to be creative too. Oh well.

They had one nice shirt last tour, without photo but with a guitar and Blowin' In The Wind logo. That was the only one they had in the last ten years that I liked enough to consider buying.

They used a different photo on concert posters here last tour and also on the spring tour, but they seem to have gone back to the same old one now....

I bought the nice orange one with the famous RTR Bob on it. I had to -it's my absolute all-time favorite photo of him. What a face....

Many years ago I bought an aftermarket shirt off a deadhead in the parking lot. I think I paid about ten bucks for it. It's nice and I still have it. Very good quality and graphics. I'm about to retire it because it finally has a hole in it but it's about 20 years & has been wished a million times old so I got my moneys worth.

I buy the posters as a remembrance of all the shows I've been to. I have dozens of them, some dating back to the late 70s (and one from the 60s but it was a gift).

He needs to do a poster with his current handsome self on it. I have
8 million 1960s Bob photos. And I'm still waiting for the coffee table book while your at it, Bob.

Some of the girls graphics are cute but I usually buy the mens shirts. I think the graphics are better.

Lucky Brand makes nice licensed BD shirts with interesting graphics that Bob doesn't sell at his shows. I have a few & they're nice quality. Google them.

The women's shirts are all cut too skimpy and small! I prefer the men's shirts either in medium or in giant nightshirt size. The recent one with the RTR photo and native American design was particularly lovely, I bought the cream-coloured one at the Hop Farm in 2010 and the orange one in the online sale.

The men's hoodies are also great quality, again the women's versions are too girly and pink, and just too small!

Yes, but-If they said he was there, well then, you know he was there. Maybe you just couldn't see him. Only those who bought the special glasses could see Leon.
But aren't things like that how real collectibles are born? Like stamps which are more valuable when they're printed wrong

I'm looking forward to seeing the new photos they took at Bilbao for Rolling Stone. The photo that was used on the official posters earlier this year was the one that was RS cover in 2006. So we might get there by 2018 or so.

@ belle: I actually thought of that but I don't think in this case, it will make the poster more valuable. They were practically giving them away at the end of the show. Come to think of it, I think they're for sale on BD.com

I'll probably buy one because it will have Mark Knopfler on it, too. But only buy one if it's got old photos on it.

I'm channeling him on that book but he's not answering.

It's probably the same they sold in Europe. Terrible. Couldn't buy it. Bought the "1965 Vintage" t-shirt instead — kind of fits with my own description... :D

I stopped buying posters when I started collecting them off lampposts, fences and walls.... except of course the street seller posters, if they have good ones. :)
I wanted an official one when they played Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon two years back, but I forgot and then they wouldn't let me back inside.

Upper middle pile is "local crew" T-shirts, right is festival shirts, lower left is jackets / hoodies.
