Expecting Rain

The search function hasn't been working for me since yesterday. I get a 'General Error' message, like this one:
search.php?keywords=tom+ze&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

Anyone else having problems?

..i've heard grumblings of the same sort.
Involving some other functions as well...

I had it happen once but it seems to be working for me now.

When I search for all of my posts on my profile, it only displays around 400 old ones.

It's the time warp thingy

I have gotten that exact same error message when I try to view the latest posts on several topics for the last couple of days. Maybe someone should notify Mr Erik.

I did not build this city; I only have a key - what do I do with it, I don't know.
Maybe there is too much pressure, and we need to lighten it a bit.

I never can get it to work for me continuously. It usually drops out once or twice a session.

I use search all the time and usually have no problem whatsoever - occasionally it will say that the search function is not available at the time - I usually assume that the web-site is catching up with us when we're being very active (such as during live netshows) - which is totally understandable - but on the whole, I've never had a problem. ER is the best web site there is. Period.

When I see there is a new post in a topic, (this time it is again BettyDavis's post in the saint topic ) I go to view the latest post and it takes me to the first page in the topic. Then I go back and click on the little box beside BettyDavis's name which should definitely take me to the last post and it still goes to the first page. This happened quite a few times yesterday and a couple today. I also am still getting the GENERAL ERROR message (like Giada posted), particularly when I click on a topic with many pages. I think we are breaking ER.

Hi Raging, I know the answer.
In case you decide to delete your last post, perhaps because you think your post is goofy stuff ( and my posts usually are) the post is gone, but your name remains somehow.

I would have prefered raiming a mystery.

I had thought of that but it seemed to be happening much more lately and most often with you! Stop deleting your posts so we can have more insight into the mind of BettyDavis

There is not much in my head, believe me.
I just realized that I made a slip of the pen in my post above again. Maybe more. So many times in my life I am filled with self-doubt.

I should have delete that post.

Search still not working

Just keep getting this:

I just did a search for "Bennyboy" and had 290 pages of hits, albeit not that most recent of all your posts.

Anyway, my phpbb expert will arrive here next week, maybe she can have a look at it and repair said table.

Try google search - put your search term into the google box, then specify "Search Site".

F'rinstance, someone was looking for posts on 78 rpm records and couldn't find any. I just used the google function and got 300+ results https://www.google.co.uk/search?sourcei ... ngrain.com
