Yes, it's true...not sure why I'm posting this other than to share with fellow fans that may be able to relate. I was drifting off in bed last night listening to Bob on my iPod (on shuffle) and the cover of it from "I'm Not There" popped on which I really dig...after playing it on repeat for a bit, I flipped over to the Bob version from Eat The Document and proceeded to play it on repeat for about an hour...then I was possessed to get up, go to my computer, look up the chords on dylanchords.info and start playing it. I love it!!!

Yeah, the girl Dylan wrote that song about must have had a great behind, indeed--the Rosetta Stone of bootyliciousness

I, too, have been spellbound by this song and the four other works-in-progress that were recorded in hotel rooms in 1966.
They should have cleaned these lo-fi recordings up for release on the "No Direction Home" soundtrack.
If heaven exits, we will be able to hear these songs--and others yet unborn--in their finished forms, from an alternate universe where there are no motorcycle accidents.

All these songs really are hidden gems. If i had 10 dreams then one of them would be to hear these all recorded with the sessions on Blonde on Blonde with that Thin Wild Mercury sound. There all songs worthy for the album (i don't think Dylan wrote songs in the 60s which wern't worthy of any album).

I Can't Leave Her Behind has a beautiful melody doesn't it.. I heard it's based on an old traditional song - hardly an earth-shattering revelation for our Bobby, but I can't recall which one, anyone shed any light on this for me again?

It's just sooooo ahhhhhhhhhhh! I can't even put my finger on it...the lyric, the way he sings it, the melody, the guitar....the jingle jangly thing he does on the G7 and fmaj7 chords...blows my mind
