Please stop making fun of Bob Dylan, the man is a god and should be treated accordingly, thank you.
Your proof that he's a god? And if he's a god, why would he want to be Pope? And what benefit would there be to his sainthood?

I didn't mean it literally.

feet_of_a_harlot, there are some things we don't joke about...the order of divine beings and the NET are two of them.

Sorry but I do realise that Bob Dylan is no ordinary mortal, I do know that at least.

Since Bob Dylan was closely associated with the Beat generation, that has got to
help, surely..

You mean he isn't a saint already? Who woulda thunk it?

Ok, but we need a proof of his holy status... what are his miracles about? Can he convert something into another thing, like water into pee or tarantelas into requiems?

I am sure he can but I don't think he goes around displaying it all the time for all and sundry, he is a very modest man.

Bob works in mysterious ways.

Don't tell anybody, but Untrodden has told me Bob can pick his nose and play harmonica at the same time. Knowing this it's hard to believe he's not a saint :o

You misunderstood...I said he can play the harmonica while holding it with his toes.

I wish you would have asked me before you put this out there for the whole world to see.

I'm so embarrassed.

Ok, we need three miracles for this ...

1. He lived thru the 60's in spite of drugs and motorcycles
2. He is a nice Jewish boy from Minnesota, but yet he got the pope to pay him a bundle for just a couple of songs :?
3. He can so disguise his voice that a knowledgeable man like Long Johnny does not see the unmistakable value of the NET :P

Ok, that's three.... give him the halo.....

This is a bit harsh but it requires quite a lot to become a saint
Like:

1. Recording a Christmas CD
2. Performing it in public
3. Getting shot for doing it.

So, I hope he settles for the "spokesman of a generation" label.
