You're kind of famous for teaching people language on here, I guess you noticed that. At least this time, it's not about body parts or intimate relationships.

Guess what... on my facebook too... I taught some people from over seas some of my slang... hahahaha that's freakin' GREAT!!!!

guess what else.... it's hilarious when my students say these phrases too... the kids will say, this is wicked hard.... hahahaha I know they are saying it b/c I do... haha... funny and they do it with a straight face.

For a while I had to do my "This is FREAKIN' AWESOME!" for them.... they'd go nuts every time I did it... as if I never did it before... funny. I love that... that was the class when the lotion blew up in my face... hahaha

I really miss you Milky and I wish I had a teacher like you when I was young. Luckily for me, the Women's Dean loved me and only because of my love for literature; she never told my parents when I got suspended several times for smoking. I just got dropped off at school and spent my days in an alley reading and smoking and my friends came to visit at lunchtime; I was quite happy! She was really mean to everybody else! :D Love, Joanna XOXOX

I am and I am listening to The Night They Tore Old Dixie Down and it makes me so sad. I am trying to convince my parents to watch The Last Waltz. I have told them that it is directed by Scorcese who they love, but so far nothing is working. I really want to watch it tonight. :( That song really makes me feel like a Southerner or a Rebel, you little Yankee! I love these lines from that song:

Back with my wife in Tennessee, when one day she called to me
"Virgil, quick, come see, there go the Robert E.Lee"
Now I don't mind choppin' wood, and I don't care if the money's no good
Ya take what ya need and ya leave the rest
But they should never have taken the very best

Robert E. Lee was a very interesting person actually. He would probably have been a Yankee except for the fact that he believed that the state (in his case, Virginia) was more important than the whole (the U.S.). I wish Levon was still here and I was wondering if you and Boston ever got up to his music thing he held on Fridays or Saturdays. I always wanted to go; they sounded so cool. I hope you did! :D Love, Joanna XOXO

You are right about Robert E. Lee, very interesting person..... after the war he taught in a military academy (don't remember which one ) and when they would march in parade, he would always make a point of staying ... out of step... with the rest of the men...... always like to think that was his final comment on wars in general.... :?
