With a new album coming out the tour will introduce some of the new songs?

what do you think?

by the way, has it ever happened before?
(meaning songs performed live before being released)
off the top of my head, I don't remember....

it has happened before, but not since about 1980 or thereabouts...he's stated so many times that he would never do it again that I can't help but think he will

If it's gay, lasts 8 minutes or is a repetitious 12 bar blues- or all 3 at once - then chances are it'll be a new song from the new album!

Or one from the last 3.

Last new song performed before release was WIGGLE WIGGLE in 1990 according to http://boblast.blogspot.com/. Naturally there's always a chance but it's a very slight one.

Doubtful.. it's hard to understand the "hits" live much less throw in a new song..people would probably think the new song is LARS.

The real question is:

How long will it take before the band plays the new songs after the new album comes out?

Then - when they finally do - how long will they play one or two of the songs into the ground? I'm looking at you, "Thunder On The Mountain" and "Spirit On The Water."

Somehow it would seem an important footnote to the history of Bob the Wiggle, Wiggle would be the last song played prior to official release. A song would have to be something else to compete with that distinguished honor?

Three things that might help you to appreciate "Wiggle Wiggle":
1. the music was taken from Howlin' Wolf's "Evil", only played faster
2. using old blues language, the song is a thinly veiled description of sexual intercourse ("wiggle on your hands and knees", "wiggle 'til it comes", "wiggle like a pail of milk", "wiggle like a big fat snake" etc.)
3. it's great

Nah, I don't think Bob would write a children's nursery rhyme about sex.

So, it sounds like we may be hoping for another thinly veiled sex song if this is going to work.
After all, it IS all about marketing strategy, right?
