It's a shame that someone was denied access because of a lapse in judgement. That's what's a shame. I imagine he regrets talking. It has nothing to do with us or what anyone does or doesn't know. We will soon enough. I don't have any burning desire know details beforehand because then you have the know-it-alls already passing judgement and trying to influence opinions. Let people make up their own minds. But I guess that would be too simple for some because they can't form opinions on their own.

I fail to see what it has to do with ego. It was a simple breach of trust which I guess they didn't feel needed to be rewarded.

As it is, I think that it's funny that the word "leaked" has been used by ISIS with regards to my post - I didn't leak anything - I simply passed along what I had been told by Mr Jones to my fellow Dylan fans. Leaking something to me would be defined as posting something prior to its release - like streaming a bit of a song before the record was actually ready, etc.

Anyway, time will tell whether Mr Jones did hear the songs this month or whether the plans fell through but I don't think that we can definitively say, based on the ISIS update, that he hasn't heard the album already.

What is certain is that ISIS has some great information about the album which has got my excitement level quite high to be sure.

what exactly did mr jones disclose anyways? that there were going to be listening sessions? ' you must not talk about the album or the listening sessions for the album or about us telling not to talk about not talking the sessions we will self distruct in 10 sec'. im with you. isis knows but doesnt know you know what i mean? they were about to post but didnt for reason of security of state that are non existent.
news of the album has been all over the net, what would it matter that there are listening sessions. dont let these dylanist experts play with your head. they always like to make a mystery outta things. like they are sitting around with a box filled with sectet communiques from bob. they dont take kindly to being one upped.

its just a bunch of dylanist gibberish. what they would have wanted is for the gent to email him his conversation with mr jones. they would have told him not to tell anyone while they checked out the stories. a few minutes later after a couple of ales and a big laugh they would have emailed him back saying its confirmed but they think it best that they report it and take the hits from bob and co, making a poor chump outta the person who got the true story.

Yeah, I know and you're right. All I'm saying is that nothing was revealed by Mr Jones as Hidalgo had already told the world about the album.

If Mr Jones has been cut out of the loop because of this, presumably left wondering what's happening here and not knowing what it is, then Dylan's people are being a bit harsh.

My sources have told me that the album will definitely have a title... there will be an accordion plastering over the cracks and D's voice will sound as rough as a badgers arse... 90% of the tracks are fast twelve bar blues and a song which contains a mention of the Titanic is a slow trudge twelve bar. It will reach No.1 for a week and then disappear from sight. A few weeks and a few google searches later some obscure poet will be discovered as the source material by those who want you to be impressed by their erudition...
