A glockenspiel on a Bob Dylan album? What is there not to like about that?

I think his shortest is Nashville Skyline back when such things were still fairly common. The 25-30 minute album.

Down In The Groove may be the other one that could be called short.

Usually, though, he's pretty generous. The length of Blonde On Blonde, was brand new at the time, for a 'rock' album. That one and Zappa's Freak Out were the first rock double LP's, in 1966 And Dylan's was first by a few months.

Knocked Out Loaded is a bit short for my tastes...

May be, but at 36 minutes, within average range of many albums. Until the CD era really kicked in and suddenly everybody had to use all the available length of the medium. A sorry trend in some cases.

I'd say Knocked Out Loaded is about 25 minutes too long.

Don't expect an invitation to the KOLLECTIVE anytime soon (even if we are low on members).

No, the album's called TBA, the band is called Herbst, or possibly Herb St. It being a band effort gives credence to the KD Lang rumors, and general lesbiany vibe, I figure.

It would be such an honor of Bob titled his next album Dylan Ego.

Lets put time out of mind, because tomorrow is still a long time. We thirst for news about this album, this must be the 4th time around that this thread has appeared. Which idiot started it? In the time of my confession I have to admit it was me.

When will people appreciate that time passes slowly in spite of the fact that the times they are - a changin'. We all want to know the name of the new album, we are so pre-occupied that there is no time to think. In spite of that I am pledging my time to this thread until the truth is known. Because on the slow train time does not interfere. However, a time will come when the winds will stop, and then time will tell just who fell, but it won't matter because eventually we will all be a long time gone.

Goombay thinks it's gonna be like the OK Corral around here when it finally does come out. Classic!
