i really like that song (never heard the original version). does anbody know if is this the only performance of WBTTO?

I, too, always loved this song. Still do, but the Street Legal version is so good and this....

WBTTO was always numero uno on my wish list whenever I would go to Bob's shows and we'd play a game before where you had to list, the ONE song you wanted to hear that night.

Never got to hear it, and this was after decades of going off-and-on to countless shows.

That version. Meh. Sort of had the life and energy sucked out of it though.
I'll give it a gentlemen's C.

He did twice in 1978, July 4th in Paris and July 12th in Gothenburg.

He did it 14 times in 1978. That 2000 performance is the only NET performance (and my favorite live version), though.

Yeah, one or two more performances and he would've really nailed it. Maybe he was reminded of the song since Street Legal was remastered in 1999? At least we still get Senor.

As a big fan of both Street Legal and the late 90's early 2000's live Dylan... thank you! This is a great recording! Thanks for bringing my attention to it. There wouldn't happen to be a best of from the never ending tour? Like a best of rarities or covers or something?

Also.... I was going to try to download the complete show from DylanNL... but that is no longer. Ah! Where do I go now??

A song that I like quite a bit... We Better Talk This Over would certainly be a nice addition to the setlists, wouldn't it Mr. Dylan?! :D
