No idea. Probably two separate entities entering into what appears to be a mutual beneficial agreement. I think Bob's people got much the better deal out of it though. There's probably lots of people watching Strike Back who wouldn't have been exposed to the new songs otherwise but very few Dylan fans who will sit through two hours of Strike Back just for the end credits (unless they were already interested in the show).

Is anyone interested in the actual TV show? I think Cinemax wasted their money if they thought this would bring in lots of new viewers to their show. They underestimated the monomania of Dylan fans, most of whom will only switch on for the end credits.

Which is the relation of this company to $ony? Are they a part of it?

According to Wikipedia (so it must be true)
Sony Pictures Television Group holdings include:

Cinemax (Latin America)
Cinemax Brazil (Latin America)
Cinemax Prime (Latin America)

All I am willing to put into this particular research (12 seconds) is finished.

I think he's already written it, or if he hasn't he may as well have done.

im hoping its the correct episode as they got 2-3 channels showing all the episodes from that particular show. however the one at 10 pm says 2012 episode while the others have 2011 so using deductive reasoning im thinking its the one at 10.

Thank you, Mr Foot.... somebody mentioned to me today it might be a $ony inside deal. So there.... I guess you just can't release two new songs in a beautiful picture sleeve single anymore.

Take a chill pill and realize that you'll be tired of the YouTube version of Scarlet Town with all its anti-terrorist sound pollution.

You kiddin'? He took all my money already. :|
I wish I could, though (despite MK). I really, really hope we'll get a Tempest spring tour over here.

DirecTV in the states has Cinemax as a free preview this weekend. It will be heard in about 2 hours. I am not very tech savvy. Does anyone know how to get the audio from off the TV?

whoever mentioned it to you probably is not aware that bob owns the sync rights to his songs. whoever wants to put on the tv, be it sony or anyone else, has to pay bob.

I could try to record it from my TV with my crappy recorder and have it up later. Wouldn't be great quality though.
