I don't think there will be anything 'new' this year now

I would love to see the rest of the catalogue remastered though!

Bob Dylan
The Times They Are A-Changin'
Self Portrait
Pat Garrett
Dylan
Hard Rain
At Budokon
Saved
Shot of love
Real Live
Empire Burlesque
Biograph
Knocked Out Loaded
Down In The Groove
Under The Red Sky
Bootleg Series 1-3
Good as I been to you
World gone wrong

I'd say Time Out of Mind is the one album absolutely screaming out for a remaster.

I'd be in favor of a Tell Tale Signs Part Two, myself. Give us some more Bromberg tracks, more outtakes from the recent albums, a few lives cuts. It could be very easily done.

I thought that aswell but then I thought that's the way the album was meant to sound?

At the time Dylan asked Lanois to make the album sound like Slim Harpo's Excello singles. It sounds perfectly alright.

I am hoping for the Bromberg Sessions or a new studio album, but I think the Hank Williams album is next.

New studio album, Bromberg complete, Tell Tale Signs part 2....

I would be happy with any of those

I'm not one to bump threads, but will anyway. I suppose at this point, we're going to have to resign ourselves to the fact that there will be no new release this fall. Getting a little late in the game for it, given that nothing's been announced and there haven't been many rumblings. Will this be a Bob-less year (not counting Brandeis, which was a minor release)?

Maybe they're hoping to sell "The Lost Notebooks"?
Plus, a book of new paintings (Asia Series) will be out in September.

No offense to Dylan, but I don't really care about his paintings.

I WANT MUSIC.

Will there be a new official release this year?

Doubt if it will be this year but I suspect a new release will offered next year. The last time the setlists were this restricted and stale (only 59 different songs for 2011) was through the Summer 2005 and early 2006...

And then we got Modern Times.

And if not an album, Chronicles II?

At the very least there should be a Bootleg Series release.

Is there any reliable info that Bob's been in the recording studio in the last year or so at all? (not that that's always known, in any event, but at least sometimes it's known about)

a new album, or another bootleg series, of course, would be nice... but yeah, I guess it'll be at least 2012 before that occurs

This suddenly popped up at a Norwegian record store (that I usually order from). I'm gonna order it when I get home from work..
Any more info? It's not a Sony release..

Don't you already have all of those?

I hope Chronicles II comes out soon or that book of poems that was rumored (although I don't think it was ever confirmed). And the next volume of the Bootleg Series.

I'd like to see him publish a work of fiction, maybe even short stories. I'm sure he's got a lot of stories in him about life, touring, and so forth that with a little imagination would develop nicely into murder mysteries, romance novels, horror stories, and so forth. Many of his songs have done that. That Nobel Prize in Literature awaits and another studio release won't do nearly the justice that a well-written literary work would do.

While he's working on this I think the time is right to start releasing NET shows. I've got the perfect ad campaign all mapped out for Sony...

Own every show of Bob Dylan's Never Ending Tour in their entirety. Available on official release through Sony where our corporate motto is "You can never have too many" NET "boots!"

omg

I agree about the fiction thing, although I think he should publish poems, not short-stories. Wasn't Chronicles a work of fiction, anyway?
