Expecting Rain

...jealous of the Knopfler appearances in the main set? I am!

Not to say Bob alone wasn't amazing - it was, and I'm still trying to come to grips with how great the first Glasgow show was - but I would have loved to have seen Mark join him for a few songs too. I just didn't think it was even feasible that it would happen, so I wasn't disappointed at the time, but now I'm watching all these videos and turning green!

Anyway, that's the only gripe I have. It's a minor one. I feel privileged to have witnessed such great performances from both artists, even if they were individual!

A little jealous for sure, particularly after listening to Beyond Here Lies Nothing from Bournemouth and THC and Blind Willie from Oberhausen. Only one thing for it: a trip to Hammersmith to see them do Jokerman and Slow Train Coming...

Yeah, I feel exactly the same. The first Glasgow was an immense show and I had thought knopfler might only do the odd song all tour with bob (like van morrison 98) so wasn't disappointed at the time. Now I'm seeing he's done Mississippi with him and feeling jealousy! Still, it builds the anticipation nicely for hammersmith ... And if they DID do jokerman? I'd quite like that ! Although I only currently have Saturday tickets bob, so could you do it then
