Nah. I just don't see the point. Of course Mark's awesome and the one everyone would prefer to hear play lead, but I just don't see the need to go overboard about it.

I'm more annoyed with how low in the mix Knopfler's guitar is one several of the recordings I've heard.

It just seems a shame that for the few songs that MK is on stage with Bob, he doesn't give him the chance to play his beautiful guitar on all songs. We can hear Bob for the rest of the concert!

I know what you mean about MK being low in some of the recordings. The Stockholm recording is pretty good, though, as is Hamburg, but I am enjoying them all. My favourites are "Blind Willie" "John Brown" "Mississippi" - lots of different "THC"'s and "Leopard Skin PBH"s :D

I just got home to Gothenburg few hours ago. Here's my "review". I'm not really good at explaining how I feel about concerts and stuff, but anyway, here we go!

When we came to the Globe we tried to find the entrance, after we did that we could walk straight down to the floor, found our seats and sat down. Mark started playing after a bit - loved Sailing to Philadeplhia from him. He had alot of people on stage, felt like alot compared to Bob!

15 mins later Bob came on. Blasted with Leopard-Skin! I think Leopard has lost what he had before this summer. In Hamburg in June I loved it - but now it feels just like it's too much. Anyway, after it there was a 30 sec intro or something for To Ramona - big surprise there! When the lights went on Bob and Mark stood next to eachother with guitars! Was a very nice surprise and I completely loved it! The show went on and soon came Make You Feel My Love! First I thought it was Not Dark Yet (Which I hoped for) - but it didn't matter, because he sang this song with all he had and it was really damn beautiful! Desolation Row came soon and it was very nicely done aswell. Would love to hear him sing the 9th verse soon, seeing as it is one of the best!

And after HW61 came forgetful heart. I felt a big "YES" inside and I just smiled. It was the 2nd time I heard it, but it certainely was much better than Oslo earlier this year. After it the usual songs came, but they were good aswell, ofcourse! Thin Man is always a highlight, it's done very well and Bob loves to play it. After Rolling Stone they lights went down, they grouped together near Tony and then the lights went up, and they started to play Blowin' in the wind. At this point my girlfriend stood on her stair and I below her. It was very nice to listen to it together.

All in all, a great evening and a smiling Bob!
