x. Visions of Johanna!

Ok, let's adopt a speculative psychological approach. Why would he send you just that?

There are two possibilities here:

a) The show is riveting and he was so lost in the performances that he forgot to text the set list. Finally, the show's first boring moment arrived in the shape of Visions. Robert, bored of another dull rendition of an already over-performed song, remembers that he was supposed to text the list. Unable to recall the mind-defying whirlwind he had just experienced, the only song he is aware of is the current Visions and so he sends that. Conclusion: This is the best show Dylan has done in years.

b) He does not have enough money on his phone. He left just enough pennies on it to text his girlfriend once the show is over but, suddenly, Dylan performs Visions of Johanna. Rob71 is so genuinely thrilled he thinks to himself "Screw the girlfriend; this is what truly matters!" and, full of inarticulable joy, he texts you to share his happiness in the little digital way he can. The implication therefore is that the rest of the show was fairly unspectacular. Conclusion: this is just another decent 2011 show and there isn't much to be excited about, Visions aside.

Or anything in-between.

I need a double Dubonnet to reflect on this dilemma

It was fun indeed. But as he sat in first row, it's easy to understand why he didn't text the set-list. We'll just have to respect that! :-)

I've just asked JP if she went tonight and she's replied by text saying it was brilliant. Think she's just about to send the set list
