- otherwise i don't think they'd get by with doing it at all.

..i don't see 'censoring' of the delivery or words or sound happening
- or as my objection to the performance... i don't quite understand your
implication that 'gov't control' is keeping this 'cover' from being all that it could be...
- i just don't like it. But help me out here - if there's are some censorship issues
with this video - enlighten please. .. 8)
.. like i said - i got scared at 1:13 - do they eliminate some words or what?

no, i was not trying to say the guy or group was being censored, I was trying to say (not very well, I agree), that I like the way they cover the song, because it brings a kind of scary, big brother feel to it. When I saw that this band was from that area (and i could be totally wrong about that), i thought, people from that area might have a more first hand idea of that scariness (although I don't know much history on this and i am guessing) ... I just like the interpretation, it fits the song, brings something new to it. As for vaudeville, yeah, it is more of a theatrical type performance, but in this case, i think it is interesting.

hey, that's as good as punk/hard rock gets over there in those post communist states/countries...:-). i thought it was interesting the way it changed up here and there. if he needs that , er, sound...teehee..., and grumbly voice to get lyrics past the censors, so be it. at least the words of bob are touching those whom may never have heard ................so there's something happening here, but ya don't know what it is...do ya......:-).....:-)

Cool rendition. Gives me new respect for Ljubljana, which we nicknamed "Lube Job" as we tried in vain for days to hitchike outta there when it was still Yugoslavia in the mid-80s...
