but he sure is looking good for the very end of the tour.....

not much like a guy that is gonna retire from touring any time soon.....

He is working only 90 minutes four-five times a week.

Yeah, all that travel time don't count............ just clocks in for that 90 minutes...........
and then he has to do all that smiling and enjoy it so much........ who would want to
keep doing something like that......... and oh, yeah, he gets paid at a very nice rate
and gets to travel the world and see friends, new and old........ but you are right....
why would anyone want to have that much fun..... how silly........I mean it is not like
he would keep doing it past, you know like the usual retirement age of 65..... how
crazy would that be.....

Absolutely wonderful- lump in the throat at the Knopfler "may your song always be sung" moment.
Carry on being negative Maria if it makes you happy- some of us still get a HUGE amount of pleasure from the old boy and your snide comments won't change my views on this- one of the moments of the year for me.

Not taking anything away from this moment, but they should have done this every night. It would have meant SO much to SO many people... But Im real glad there is a decent capture of this truely GREAT moment....

@ BBZ: We all know he performed this for arabia so it wouldn't have had the same meaning if he did it on another night other than his birthday.

^^ yeah, you can't recreate that same special sentiment night after night. It was special partly because of it's singular performance. I think I'll go watch it again

Well that's the obvious answer, what im saying is only it would have meant a lot to MANY people if something similar had been done every night (and im not talking about the people on this forum - but the 10.000 plus every night who isnt as obsessed as we)
