I fully agree.
Wish I had been able to afford it to London, but at least I saw him in Innsbruck which was also very good...

did you actually read the article?

sorry to burst your bubble but bob is old, and looks it

Yes Bob is old, and I am getting that way too! I did read the article. He still has rather lovely skin and so do I (and rose-tinted spectacles too, why not).

Oh and he probably tans better than I do if he still chooses to go out in the California sun and (pant pant) bare his body to it.

I think Bob is looking really good recently! He seems to be looking less old at the moment than he was a few years ago to me... maybe it's my eyes  And when he took his hat off... his hair is still really good. I like his shoes and suits too.

look sure. he still looks seventy, though, and has always been a pale dude!

didn't like just pouncing on one phrase when the article is overwhelmingly positive!

In the photos I've seen from this tour, as well as the vids....Bob sure doesn't look 70. It's the best I've seen him look in years...fit, trim, spry, and healthy. Doesn't look like many 70 year olds I see walking 'round.

it's great that he looks his age! or is cool with how he looks. unlike people like Paul..."yeah i'm totally still young and laid back look at my jeans yo"

I think this applies more to Mick Jagger.

But I agree with wineman, Bob's looking quite healthy and happy these days.

just to say tony had noticed that bob had messed up on h61r soon as he did it, he tried to catch his eye to see what he wanted to do but bobby remained confused for a couple of lines, straining to get the words in, and then tony just about got george to hold off with the faster drums roll for an extra line in an attempt to give bob time to sort himself. Bob then growled at tony. I have jammed with a fairly high profile guitarist a few times and he tells me he always gives somebody else on stage a frown if he makes a mistake just so everyone knows its not him. I think tony probably gets extra money for being the fall guy.

Marks gesture toward bob on the 'may your song always be sung' line was an incredibly heart warming gesture that meant i forgave him for playing brothers in arms every night.... hate that song. More seriously i think there was a huge respect between the two of them that i have rarely seen in any guest spot at a bob show. What a special finish to the tour.

And even more seriously... what if that was the end of the NET????????

Thanks for that stevie... I had forgotten about that moment, but you are right... I noticed Bob seemed to lose where he was for a few moments, I instinctively glanced at Tony and he was kind of half smiling, with a questioning look towards Bob, seemed to be trying to judge where to go next with it... once they got it back together there seemed to be a rush and a few of the band smiling and the song seemed to gain extra power because of that moment.. for a second I questioned whether I'd mistaken the whole moment and it was in fact planned haha ... there was a moment on the first night too.. I can't even remember the song now, but it seemed Bob was singing new lyrics..? Tony was staring at Bob and really smiling... Tony was then looking around to the rest of the band and smiling... I really like those moments. Maybe Bob just slightly messed up the lines and I mistook it for some new lyrics haha.. either way, I enjoyed it.

Wineman, you are right, Bob is looking really good. He looks really trim and sprightly, hair looks good, face as interesting as ever, movements still somehow strange and interesting, he seems really at home and comfortable on stage, pretty confident.. like he knows he's looking good haha

Haha, yes

..Did anyone else suddenly become more interested in MK when his voice slightly went on one line on the last night? It suddenly seemed more real .. not sure what I mean by that...

You mean on Forever Young? "May you heart be always joyful" ? He was really touched by that, it seemed. On his own set he always seemed to be going through the motions, so to see him show some emotion was really different.

He very audibly cleared his throat before starting to hum the intro to "Privateering", but I thought that was just show. He sang some lines more quietly that earlier in the tour, the "cleaning my gun" part in the song of that title for one example.

I agree!
I was listing "things I gave/still give the biggest part of my money for in life". The competition is among Bob, Modena F.C., hair products...but I wouldn´t have it another way!!!

Thanks for the reviews, by the way!

But will he sell it at a reduced price?
