How do you do a poll? Somebody make a poll asking if you'd like Bob and the band to ditch their matchy matchy suits and just dress normal.

I vote to either ditch them or get Bob one that fits. I don't know if he noticed but it's about 4 sizes to big. But yes, i'd rather see them out there in street clothes too. The suits look uncomfortable.

I've volunteered many, many times to be Bob's stylist. His jackets need to have some darts so they fit correctly and they should be shorter. Other than that he's perfect (minus the flying saucer hat). Still don't know why he insists on covering hp his hair. :x

The suits and the hats are their look, to see them out there suddenly without them would be like Kiss without the make-up. I was actually thinking earlier that MK and company look shabby next to our boys, look at Mark in the last night line up, it looks like Bob wanted to bring out a local stage hand to take a bow.

Exactly. Being in "normal" clothes just makes you look shabby.

Can I hear a-whatwhat for Carnaby Street Mod fashion?!

well i appreciate them dressing up, i think it shows respect of the audience for whom the show night is something special...

besides, it´s a kind of uniform and i think this make it easier to switch from the "stage" to everyday life and vice versa. i mean, a doctor also needn´t wear white, it doesn´t make any real sense, but it certainly strengthens his appearance.

i like Bob´s polka dot shirts best. or his white shirt with the black western tie 8)

EDIT: just like on these pictures http://www.flickr.com/photos/highw61/62 ... /lightbox/

I love their suits (and their hats) ... they look really good. You know what they say, fine feathers make fine birds.

I just wonder if Bob forces the band members to dress this way or if they have a say in this.

Absolutely! Though the jacket could be quite a bit shorter - down to his knees at Hammersmith. ;-)

I actually like the suits but only because of Charlie Sexton. The slim fit and the scarf/neckerchief provide a wonderful contrast to the rest of them.

I'm sure it's required of them.

I think Bob should wear his birthday suit and that's it

Oh and today I took a picture with James Woods... actually I took 2. I was with Kevin... Kevin decided to do a second one so I asked if it was okay... He said it wouldn't be okay if he took it with Kevin but he would take 20 with me. sigh.... I look like a fat sow in both

Not a very clear pic but I think this is his best look of the last 20 years or so (Johnny Cash tribute 1999). Much better fit.

Yes to the suits!!

I also wish Bob's was more fitted. Through the years he has always worn stylish and more fitted clothes, so it definitely seems the looser fitting jacket is to conceal the brace or whatever he wears underneath.

I love Bob's cowboy hats if he insists on wearing something over those curls!

He's been wearing a brace for the last 20 years.... somebody once told me he is wearing a bullet proof vest, too. If that's true, it's sad what the world has come to, but if I was him and in the light of Lennon, I'd probably act the same way.

Yeah I like the suits. I'd not heard about the brace, but I'd always sensed he had something around him underneath the suits for a while..

What's the brace for? Excuse my ignorance.
