My girlfriend is jealous of Dylan, such as many other couples of us ER members. I’m listening to Bob Dylan, I gotta turn up the sound, she’s always yelling turn it down. So whenever she's around, I'm playing only tunes from Nashville Skyline, because she hasn't noticed yet this is actually Bob singing :D And I don't even really like NS, but who else could listen to?

Maybe Neil Young :)

Here's a track for all you fellow losers, I mean Bobholics out there:

Taken from an album I produced with my mate Al, it's called Angelina, and it can be found here -

http://www.sendspace.com/file/y6pv46

Lyrics are by me, playing and singing by Al.

Enjoy. Weirdos.

as this has obviously been written some time before 2009, i found this point so funny:

You didn't have to say who wrote the lyrics .

Brilliant . Seriously . I really liked it . Didn't think i would . After i got over my anger , i loved it .
Great bitter song.
The Angelina verse should have been the last one in my opinion. After the wembley arena verse .

Edit to add: No , it's better the way it is , fits the original better .

you have just been coincidentally watching a mountaineering documentary on tv (about a us expedition to the mount everest in the 1960ies) and been highly surprised and delighted that there are at least two (unfortunately i didn´t see the whole movie) BD songs in the soundtrack: an instrumental version of "don´t think twice, it´s alright", and the album version of "stuck inside a mobile..." :D :D :D

Hm, I guess you're not alone. I do at least some of these things (not all of them, though. For instance, I don't have Bob's birthday highlighted in my calendar. Then again, I don't have a calendar... so ...)

Damn it, I can't believe I've missed that. :( Do you perchance know the name of this movie / documentary?

I guess you're obsessed with Dylan when you really think about learning how to make hats just so that you could make your own Rolling Thunder Revue hat. (The real RTR hat is just way too expensive!)

I guess this weirdo will just have to imagine what this song might be (knowing Benny, the lyrics should be extremely controversial) - I've made numerous attempts to listen, and my computer has totally shut down 3 times :( - Jim says no more - and I even already have sendspace - ?! Has anyone else had any problems listening to this? How about just publishing the lyrics, Benny?
Perhaps my computer is a ModBob model?

I grew up in a house with 4 brothers who terrorized my sister & I. He reminds me of them. Those were the days.

The song is in flac format - so it wont work on the pussyass iTunes. If you've been trying to open it in that, try another music player. Most of them allow flac.

Boston, I had no brothers, but I always wanted one. Maybe Benny reminds me of the brother I never had. I really like sarcastic people too! OMG, that's a lot of people to grow up with. I knew a family that had 16 kids and on the next street they had 12. Their houses were insane, but fun! :D Love, Joanna XOXOX

Thank you so much! You know I'm a wee bit interested in mountaineering and if they throw in some Dylan songs, it's like Christmas for me :D I'll try to watch it tomorrow :D

I just "watched" it. (Thanks again, btw!) I guess you are obsessed with Dylan when you watch a rerun of a 90 minutes long Mt. Everest documentary just so that you could hear "Stuck Inside of Mobile" ... especially if you don't see nothing of the actual documentary but a noisy image (thanks to a storm which is raging outside right now).

(And I thought you were kidding when you said that they use "Stuck Inside of Mobile" in this documentary. I could easily understand them using "Don't Think Twice" for a mountaineering documentary, but "Stuck Inside of Mobile" ... haha, but they made it work somehow  )

great that you liked it! (the storm is really heavy right now...)

1) ... you really consider staying up all night till 4 o'clock to catch a glimpse of Dylan's five minute long performance at the VH1 Scorsese tribute ... especially if you have to get up early the next morning.

2) ... you meet with a fellow student of linguistics just in order to translate the lyrics of Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" into Old English, Middle English and Early Modern English.

*sing* cnuc-cnuc-cnuċiende on heōfones dūra ...

Sometimes I really wonder what's wrong with me... :?
