You want to say that it is the same old crap : Robbert Allen Zimmerman born MAY 24 1941 went to New York in the sixties ... changed his name into Bob Dylan and bla bla bla bla bla ...........
I'm not going to buy that magazine I know that story by now ... It's always the same shit in those magazines its a waste of money .

The contents on his later career is not very impressive. They don't cover it enough.

There is one of Bob kissing Suze on the nose while making the cover for Freewheelin'--pp 22. I've never seen it anyway; just adorable.

Is there a photo in the live magazine of Bob kissing Blue Midnight ? ..... if it is I demand a rectification of the magazine .

Just received it as a gift. Didn't turn it down. Not much new here, photo or text wise, but a pretty package. I didn't realize the entire mag was dedicated to Dylan. As someone pointed out earlier, very little on current decade(s). Oh well. Oh yeah, and loads of ER avatars throughout...

I have tons of books and magazines devoted to Bob, and I have no reason to believe that I'll be disappointed with this. Picking up a copy after class tomorrow as a reward for completing my last midterm! Love the cover.

Thumbed through it today at Barnes and Nobles. At first I was excited. While yes, a lot of the information was a familiar retread I still found myself interested enough to read some of the passages and enjoy the pictures (some great ones in there) and then I started to realize as I went along that there weren't near enough pages left to cover the Never Ending Tour, TOOM, L&T, MT and TTL, the Bootleg Series or basically, any of the greatness of the last twenty to thirty years years properly.

As some folks have said, it's severely lacking on modern Bob.

But I may still buy it... or better yet someone will surprise me with it on Vday

The bride gave me a copy for V-Day. Lots of cute photos with him and his kids (how many young'uns does he have anyway?)

Also was struck by how pretty Sara was, and there's a cool picture of him an the boys in front of Big Pink.

Some great photos in here that I've never seen. Pretty steep price in Canada, though - $16.99! Ridiculous. Luckily my girlfriend was able to get me a discount.

The greed these days is crushing my spirit but so long as slimey Sony Music doesn't get any of the $12.99 I'll buy it for my neighbor who doesn't have any Dylan stuff yet but likes the lyrics.

I found this image on tumblr. The image is different than the issue I bought, and so is the caption. Is it a series of issues? Is it the same, just a different cover?

I think they had a facebook vote for people to chose a cover. Mine's different, too.
I was very shocked to find one of Bob's most famous quotes censored, btw.
I'm European.... we swear in magazines.

I saw this magazine in a grocery store today and grabbed it up. This price is listed as $12.99 US $16.99 CAN. Well worth it! It has lots of pictures, some of which I have never seen before, this makes it easy for me, I can just look at the pictures and read the captions. This will look real good on the coffee table. I supposed eventually I'll skim the articles.

Word to the wise: A caption by the bar code says: DISPLAY UNTIL 5/11/12.
