If you could get a piece of Bob memorabilia, what would you like to purchase?

How much would you be willing to pay?

I would be interested in buying one of the Telecasters he used for Rolling Thunder Revue or Hard Rain... I'd be willing to pay $2,000... which would get it in this lifetime or the next but I ain't made of money.

Milkcow, as I recall, has a guitar strap from the '86 or '87 tour.

I'd like that red & white jacket from the RTR. And I'd pay $500 for it.

The best memorabilia would be some rare created item, and I really like ornamental metal, so if there are unusual, or pretty things like that, I would love to, first of all, just see them, and then select something fabulous. ( pay? priceless- I'd have to sell something. :) )

I want an Eye of Horus sticker that doesn't say 'Bob Dylan' (we know). I'd pay up to 3 bucks.

If i have some mony to spend on Bob-related stuff, i'll buy some rare records, or videos, or books...
I found a bit perverted that rush for memorabilia. It remains me that story of Steeve Jobs dating Joan Baez, he must consider her as an item of memorabilia too (poor Joan  ).

I have a signed book of Ginsberg poems. I would consider swapping it for a Dylan autograph if anyone's interested. A real one, mind, not something bought on ebay from a dodgy dealer.

Yes, a real autograph of Bob, preferably on one of his records would be very nice to have. How much would I pay? Well, I guess between 20-50 € (or $, whatever).
Another thing I'd like to have is one of those wooden pieces of "art" Bob is working on with a chainsaw in his 10 seconds-appearance in the Jodie Foster/Dennis Hopper movie Catchfire (aka Backtrack)...

Sorry to break it to you. But that guitar would sell for much more than that... A brand new fender telecaster sells for almost that much, if youre looking for a deluxe edition it would be even more... Now when you consider that its a vintage model, and played by Bob Dylan, id say youre missing a zero or so.

Was willling to pay 15 or 20 dollars for a Bob Dylan baseball cap. That's my limit but I'd do it again if this one got lost.

Mjeff, yes you are right. But he also said that you could buy it for that price, I thought... Perhaps I didn't understand.

If i had the cash I'd be willing to pay a serious amount for original lyrics, but then again I don't have the cash...

Very nice item but sadly as I have to work for a living it`s just a little bit out of my league financially.

You'll get it for your birthday. I am sure every ER member is willing to contribute 1 $

Well If I could have anything it would be a bob song written for me to sing and become a rock n roll superstar circa 1965.... for that maybe 1-2 Roger McGuinns

I doubt $20,000 would even get it but I don't have that kind of money... even the $2,000 would be a stretch.

Yes, you're right. I wish I could afford it too... I don't think it's very often you hear of these things being sold though... I guess it goes back to Dylan hanging on to everything.
