Blood on the Tracks. Sometimes I lie to myself and think I prefer Blonde on Blonde or John Wesley Harding, but I know deep down it's all about Blood on the Tracks.
All three are ridiculously high standards though.
Desire often gets close but doesn't quite get there.

i would love to hear the themes of JWH set to the music of BOTT. now we're talking. BOTT is the pinnacle no doubt (and the half speed takes it out of the stratosphere), i just can't be bothered with it as often as i would like. all that love and pain and smuch.

Trying to pick one...narrowed it down to BoB, BotT, and TOOM. Each one has something I like more than the others, if you know what I mean.

i forgot to mention every time I play blonde on blonde I forget about the existence of everything else, so in a way that gets a number one spot too.

Blood on the Tracks. No doubt. I love all versions of it!
Desire and Blonde on Blonde come close.

Very hard choice, but I guess:
- Blood On The Tracks / Desire
- Oh Mercy
- Planet Waves
I don't know if I can rank them...

Blood on the Tracks. Or Bringing It All Back Home. I skip a couple tracks on side one of Bringing It All Back Home, though.

Blood on the Tracks.

It's a tie, er, in this order: Blood On The Tracks/Highway 61/Love & Theft/Blonde And Blonde.

I think that counts as a tie?

I've lurked on this site for ages, a while ago I read what you said about it and torrented it from somewhere and I've never gone back to the sped up version since, so thank you very much man.

Good man.

Every Dylan fan must hear the half-speed vinyl Blood On The Tracks. If this is my sole mission on Earth, so be it.

You're fulfilling your mission very well Benny, and I for one am very glad and grateful.

BOTT is certainly my favourite and the half speed is now the only version I'll be listening to- if you haven't heard this, do your ears a favour and get it- trust me, it's hearing music you thought you knew but properly for the first time.
