I'm pretty sure that original post is a joke. Has anyone ever seen a concert promoter refer to its own prices as exorbitant? Still, despite the setlist issue, no cell-phones at a concert would be pretty sweet.

The audience will have to go back to holding up lighters and matches.

I think that's the same one he had on when I saw him walk from the bus to the venue before the House of Blue concert in August.

I'd take a recording over a live set list.

fingers crossed we have a veteran taper (legends like soomlos, bach, SPOT, schubert ..) in the crowd because my last outing yielded mediocre results. i was using my pcm-10's internal mics and had the recorder placed in my shirt pocket so the resultant sound was muffled

i guess my point is please don't expect too much from me as i'm still very much a beginner. for this upcoming trip, i've invested in a pair of budget external omni's which i hope will yield a recording worthy of circulation. :)

Thanks, h-m.......you just enjoy the show!! I don't think I could do all of those things and still be in the moment. As much fun as the live set lists are, it shouldn't take away from your enjoyment of show.

hi raging glory! yes unfortunately, live setlist from me is looking unlikely. but never say never ;)

Sending in setlists isn't a big distraction if you do it right. I've sent in a lot of them in to ER. I text between songs.

i know atleast 3 other members from ER who will be at the show. if they seem friendly in real life, i might ask one to volunteer.

At least here in Chile, cell phones get no signal in concert halls and stadiums due to big crowds gathering. Therefore, impossible to report setlist in real time.... no conspiration at all.

In actual fact, that's not a bad thing. People get to concentrate on the performance instead of on their little screens. However, people were posting on twitter from the show last night, so if that was technically possible, so would have been text messages.

I will report the setlist from Chile if I don't have signal problems. Follow me on twitter: @cdroppe

Thank you cdropp! We will look for you when we get to Chile. Brazil has one more chance to come up with a live set list, then it will be on Argentina's shoulders. Hope that everyone is having fun at the shows. They look like somewhere I should be.
