after taking the plunge, i would say you couldn't pay me $5 dollars to listen to TOOM on CD...it's an unjust edit to a perfect bliss...my heart is in the highlands tonight...

let's put it this way, even make you feel my love sounds pretty sweet.

really nice to hear were:
love sick
dirt road blues, naturally
standing in the doorway
Cold Irons Bound
Not dark yet,
million miles, oh the atmosphere
highlands, naturally

so that's a good three album sides' worth of pure pleasure. the best is you can bring the treble down enough to reduce some the the album's sharpness, while retaining atmosphere, and plenty of gravel.

i have an audio-technica LP 240 turntable.

I posted it on the other thread also, I have a good-as-new spare vinyl Modern Times if anybody wants it. You'll not even have to pay if you have anything to trade.

Still valid.

According to amazon, Dutch label Music On Vinyl will put out New Morning, in addition to "Love And Theft", next month.

I hope so, too. TOOM is one of his greatest.

I just saw this used BOTT half speed master on ebay. It is not my auction, and I'm not going to bid on it either, so I thought I'd post it here in case someone wants to give it a shot - good luck.

When I buy Dylan's records I always check with this site first http://www.searchingforagem.com/InternationalAlbumsHeader.htm

I went there to get me some Blood on the Tracks and Nashville Skyline and they had quite a couple of Dylan's records. John Wesley Harding, Planet Waves, Pat Garrett, Street Legal, Slow Train Coming, A Fool Such As I, Self Portrait, even a copy of Empire Burlesque. But as I said, I went there because I wanted BOTT and Nashville. So, as I was about to give up, I finally found a Blood on the Tracks vinyl. That put a big smile on my face. I also got the "A Fool Such As I" record, "The Times They Are a-Changin'" and some Bruce Springsteen stuff. I think I'm going to go there again to get some more Dylan stuff. If only I could get Nashville Skyline, that would be a dream. Anybody interested in selling his copy of this album?

(Btw. unfortunately prices increased to 5.00 Euro.)

Hm, I'll think about that, but before I buy it online, I'll check out one more record shop in my neighborhood. Maybe I'll find it there.
