Left unsaid is that you have good taste & nobody else here does. I agree that Bob of 1966 is far superior to Bob of today. But nobody should have to defend or apologize for his or her tastes in music. There's enough music to go around for everybody. The attitude that somebody would come here & purport to educate the unwashed masses until they're completely converted to having "good" musical taste gets tiresome. As if anybody is going to abandon the music they like just because some guy on the internet says so. I guess next we go to all the Justin Bieber message boards & tell the kiddies that there's a whole world of music out there that they're missing.
i found one reasonable post, which ironically, hardly got any reply action. people must like to fight!
incidentally, i didn't vote according to any sense of musical interest. i merely chose to be a part of something we can all agree was a historical moment - and also, something i really haven't experienced. who knows if i'd enjoy myself, especially if the floors of those theaters where as sticky then as they are now....
