Watching the video, Bob is quite understandably shocked and probably scared shitless when the guy runs up to him. Not a cool thing to do, Bob would have no idea if he was a "fan" or someone with more sinister intentions.

And if Baron and the security team were more focussed on protecting Bob than on looking for tapers and photographers, it would not happen.

Oh, I totally agree. Was just stating that it must not have been a nice moment for Bob.

Yes, if you look at his face, you don't see any sign of pleasure

Bob's most concerned his hat doesn't get knocked off! This kiss could have been good for something.... :P

But seriously, I hate when this happens. I always fear for Bob.
And I agree about Baron and the others, they should focus on Bob's safety over anything else. They can never catch every taper and every photographer anyway.

borisw, I'm sure you remember in 2006, when somebody jumped on the stage, it was Jim and Jules who carried her off, Baron totally failed to do anything.

Priorities. He seemed unphased by the whole thing which is amazing.

Just watched the video. I really don't like what happened. You can clearly see that the man scared Dylan a lot. I agree that security has to focus. That should not happen. The only funny thing is Donnie's reaction: he sees the man and tries to warm everyone! Charlie seems very upset... I think they all feared for Bob's safety.

Thanks cow... after one week here I'm happy to be going back home but I will miss seeing Bob in person almost every night. :(

P.S. - random factoid, something i learnt on this trip: recall that italian poet from the 13th century? he has an interesting connection with a certain famous building in BA.

OOOOOHHhhhhh noooo!

That's as uncool as it gets... he almost knocked his hat right off. I know the guy meant well, but that scares the shit out of any performer... especially when they don't see it coming... regardless if it's Bob or not... that's not nice.

yah I got home this morning and spent the better part of the day snoozing :| , but i appreciate you asking! :)

I'm not sure if we will have another opportunity to see Bob in Argentina/South America, but one can hope. Argentina is a beautiful country and you should definitely try to visit it if the opportunity presents itself to you. I'm certain I will visit again some day in the future.

And everyone is very welcome in our country :D

Argentina may have some 'things', and all, but it's beautiful indeed.

You're welcome! I've been twice. The best view is from your side! :D
Foz do Iguaçu is a beautiful city. I stayed there one time, exactly when Brazil won the '94 World Cup! :P
