No one know's for sure if it was Dylan that said that or not... the debate still continues... many think that it was someone else, maybe a roadie, even... essentially, it's another Dylan mystery... fitting for a man shrouded in mystery!

Yes, and even the NDH footage is more than doubtful.

yeah, but it makes a nice Beatlesque topic title! To borrow from Mark Twain (as does His Bobness) "never let the facts get in the way of a good story."

I've always thought that it sounds a bit too obviously male, as if someone's putting it on, and that in fact it's probably really a woman who said it - maybe someone who worked at the Trade Hall. It's just a theory.

i know what i'm playing later...

and i love that two threads have independently linked Dylan to Twain! two heros! now we need to get Davy Crockett into the picture...

there was also a very touching acoustic set...it never gets any press!

The NDH video does appear out of sync, but I don't think there is any mistaking the voice. Besides, who else could tell the band to play fvcking loud? Were the the band taking direction from someone else?

Yes, you are right, Mr O... I should have known better... I loathe and detest facts... please accept my apologies... I am very annoyed with myself!

Absolutely. Yep it is out of sync, but it's his voice alright, the same one that has just intoned, 'I don't believe you, you're a liar!' He then turns, and gives them their orders. Mickey Jones came out with the theory that it was a roadie. I don't think so. Wasn't it also Mickey who claimed that The motorcycle crash was the result of Bob riding his bike through some woods, and going over a log? He certainly brings a fresh approach to these grassy knoll theories.
