Bob's covers of the Warren Zevon songs, Brown Sugar and Old Man didn't come close to the originals UP though they were pretty good.

Dean & Britta ~ I'll Keep It With Mine

A lovely, subtly strange version from 13 Most Beautiful : Songs for Andy Warhol's screentests.

And the bonus is it accompanys Nico's Warhol screentest in this youtube clip.

I randomly looked through Don't Think Twice covers one day and came across this girl:

At first I thought, Ok, another youtube cover-done-in-one's-bedroom type of thing, but man!
Usually I don't like Dylan covers, since I'm a firm believer in "nobody sings Dylan like Dylan" but she touched my heart.

I recently discovered Martin Simpson's version of Boots Of Spanish Leather in a tribute album, and it's kind of, well, absolutely brilliant.

Has anyone heard the "Is It Rolling Bob? A Reggae Tribute to Bob Dylan, Vol. 1" album? I know it sounds strange but it's quite awesome.

As a *fan* of Dylan cover, yes, sure I have.

I agree it's quite strange, but I wouldn't call it *awesome*.

This is Hendrix doin' LARS but it's from "Winterland" rather than the more common version at Monterey - very nice too.

Thea Gilmore's Dear Landlord is very good. It's on that JWH cover album she did.

I like this cover of Things Have Changed from String Swing, a Copenhagen jazz group.
I's from the album Waiting for the Good Times:
