Marathon alert!
Did you realise it's the London Marathon is on Sunday? Will this affect us at all??

I certainly doubt they'll let them run through Camden, hilarious as that proposition sounds.

However, count on very limited bus operation and possibly tube delays.

It was a beret but I hasten to add a non-pretentious one (it was the warmest hat I owned and that November of the Brixton gigs was one of the coldest this country's had in the last half century!)...wrapped all over ears and as much of my head as I could fit in Also had a bright red skirt on some of the nights, or a sparkly-ish black one....and furry boots! Oh and long dark hair. Very, very giggly: not before or since have I been as excited as I was that week...

There's one guy in particular who was awesome, a Neil Young lookalike who aided me in my quest to get to the front row every night for which I am eternally grateful, because those concerts really were one of the best weeks of my life. We met up outside Hard Rock cafe a while after to grab a coffee after your double decker shift? And then saw you briefly at the last Wembley gig but was with my mum so, alas, could not follow you folks to the pub!

And also would love to hear from a really cool lady called Lizzy who happened to know my friend Amir from my university! If you're here give me a shout We were meant to meet up after the gigs sometime but could never work out a proper time (mostly my fault!)....

I see a row of girls in black berets, red skirts and fishnet stockings, waiting to dance with them...

Seriously, I will aim (London Marathon permitting) to be there around 1pm, as long as my in-laws don't insist on my having an elaborate lunch before I leave! I'll be travelling in to Euston, so it doesn't involve too much complicated public transport. I don't know what to wear yet.
