Brussel: absolutely fascinating. Singing very different to all other renditions of that year.

I'm gonna bump this to get some more responses. I've heard all the cases, but none are too satisfying.

the 1984 versions sounded less like a song, more like a long rambling confessional
on a man's life to large stadiums

i am no expert on subtleties, but i grabbed many 1984 shows over the years and enjoyed them all.
will have to track down Brussels, Paris, Slane Castle.

Ok sirdogg those are all good, but not from 1984.

With that said, everyone should be familiar with those two versions.
