Hey, c'mon. Delia was pretty good.

Sure. But it's not Delia Smith. Nor is it Sharon Stone, Mamie van Doren, Lotte Lenya, Tippi Hedren, Little Mo Connolly, Nigella Lawson or Jean Harlow- or even Mae West, though it should be. Who's that 30's siren? Who IS that girl? We have to know- if only for the fact that this knowledge would comfortably beat the hell out of the absorption of any putative deconstruction of Paid in Blood.

I think it is indeed Sharon Stone, with a photoshopped, bulked-up face and frame, or someone else's frame.

And the midget's Eric Cantona. Ok, I can get there, I think, with St John's Ambulance assistance, maybe already.

So that's 4 votes for Mamie Van Doren, and one twinkie thinks it looks like his mum.

two bumps surely, maybe even four - five including the head. Shazza La Rock as she was christened knew she was in for a bumpy ride as soon as she signed up for the Blobbo theme park implant lip concession - at least she aint the man eating chicken. Or is she? No mercy upon the famous, they must live with what they chose.

Where's the oppression in being attracted to tits, already?

She's obviously not Mamie van Doren (and the journo schmucks that lazily pass her off as Sharon Stone should be fired), so who is she? Some 30's, racked, Jean Harlow wannabe, says I. Bobby loves his titties , doesn't he? Don't we all.

We'd all starve without them, wouldn't we?

with “Conjuring Rolling Thunder Re-vue Re-vue” (that’s the actual title, right?.. when u watch it) it’s fun to revisit the revisionist art topic with Sharon Stone. Was there other stuff on the Stone - Dylan dynamic figured out before? Or, what kind of a role might this Dylan magazine cover played in the Stone - Dylan narrative now before us in the new film? And to weave all of the Gene Simmons stuff into it all is just too hilarious, whatever it is.

I told a couple of people when Tempest was released that I suspected the title might include a winking reference to burlesque star Tempest Storm. The more I've thought about that, the more possible it seems. This use of the image of Van Doren - perhaps one of a series of secret homages in Bob's work to various beautiful, buxom women he admired in his youth?
