I hesitated to post it myself because I was unable to identify two of the songs (sorry - I only have 20 of his albums ;-) But here's what I got: Houston Music Hall November 1, 1995 [electric] Down In The Flood Senor Watchtower Just Like A Woman I'll Be Your Baby Tonight Silvio [acoustic] Mr. Tambourine Man Gates Of Eden Don't Think Twice It's Alright [electric again] Maggie's Farm {two more songs I could not identify} [encores] Alabama Getaway The Times They Are A-Changin' Rainy Day Women A great show! I thank everyone here for their reviews of this tour; This was the first time my wife or I had seen Dylan since the Bodukan tour, and it was the strength of your reviews that encouraged us to go. Of course you were correct - he *is* playing better than ever right now. About the two songs I couldn't ID: - I have never heard the first one before. At the time I did not like it much; it is a slow and delicate thing, with a herky-jerky halting tempo to it, and an almost awkward chromatically climbing progression. I thought that it slowed a lot of the momentum of the show, and it looked like a lot of the rest of the audience felt that way too. But now two days later, this is the tune that keeps running through my head. Go figure. The only lyrics I could pick out were something about walking into the garden (reference to the Garden of Gethsemane?) and the start of the first bridge that goes: "Did they know that he was the Son of God?" Anyone out there recognise this song? - The second unidentified song sounded very familiar; I'm sure that I've heard it before, but a title just doesn't come to me. It sounds a lot like a Muddy Waters Mississippi blues with a guitar run that reminded me of the Allman Brothers version of You Don't Love Me. It sounded very much like a lot of the playing in the electric 1965 tour. Sorry, but I didn't catch any of the lyrics (Bob seemed to be enunciating fairly well, but I was way in the back and the jerk behind me was very loud and distracting at this point) Okay, back to lurker mode for me.

I forgot to include the all-important fashion review: For the November 1st show in Houston, Bob was resplendant in a bright shiny magenta jacket, and black pants with zippers and buttons along the outside of each leg. That jacket might have blinded me if I wasn't way up in the rafters where the light was filtered and muted by all the incense. (Okay - now I'm *really* going back into lurker mode!)
