Another big movie star who was a "little guy", and who could well have been an inspiration for the young Dylan. In the Charlie Chaplin film "Limelight" (1952), Keaton is seen backstage putting on his stage make-up. He applies a moustache, then inspects at himself in the mirror, swivelling his head from side to side, rolling his eyes a little, not unlike the moment at the beginning of Dylan's satellite broadcast for the 2000 Academy Award ceremony, where he appeared with the pencil-thin moustache.
