** To all interested in "Dylan's Dark Ladies" -- have we forgotten, so soon, about Clydie King? A formidable singer, black and Bible-based and proud, linked romantically both to Jagger (she's backup on Exiles On Main St.) and of course Dylan; she performs on a number of BD albums -- as well as on such classic songs as "Every Grain of Sand." Surely that's Clydie sketched on the back of Infidels and elsewhere. She turns up in the new book of Dylan's drawings as well.
