To be alone with you. Masters of War: "I hope that you die." scary. Huge applause on "She says you can't repeat the past I said you can't whaddaya mean ya can't of course you can." Visions of johanna, "One with the mousdache line," everyone points to Bob. Bob unhappy with the drums at the end of It ain't me babe. Talks to Kemper immediately after. Shaking his head when he hears how loud kemper is playing. Did not want to play harmonica on Drifter's, but everyone in the band looked at him like "Aren't you going to play harmonica?" Times they are a-changin played so well, but everything was. Not one throwaway song the whole night. People have been complaining about 'Drifter's" lately, but in LaCrosse drifters was tight as hell. Honest With Me's best line was "My paren't warned me not to risk my years." It was a voice heard only a few times all night. "Lonesome Day blues" recived applause and reactions after almost every verse. Highwater and Sugar Baby. Now I know what everyone is talking about. Both were beyond amazing. All in all, one of the best of 9 Bob shows I've ever seen., He just gets better and better. I feel refreshed after seeing someone so free and passionate. Amen.
